MEET THE EDITORS
Rachel is our editorial intern. She comes from Belgium where she recently completed her Master’s in International Law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Her main interests are politics, climate justice and music.
Amyrose is our Humanitarian Editor. She’s a final year student at Trinity College Dublin studying English. She has lived in Dublin, the midlands and the east coast of Scotland. She joined the STAND team as an outlet for her twin passions of writing and global justice. When not daydreaming about travel, Amyrose can usually be found watching TV quiz shows or bopping to Joni Mitchell.
Cassie is our women’s section editor. She is an Irish-qualified lawyer and a current student of the LLM in International Human Rights Law at NUI Galway. Her chief areas of interest are women’s rights, minority rights, climate justice and human rights law.
MEET THE CONTRIBUTORS
Lyndsay is a Recurrent Contributor. Currently studying for a Masters in Development Practice, Lyndsay has an Undergraduate in Natural Sciences. She has a lot of ecological research experience; having carried out research in Mexico, Peru and Kenya!
Isolde studies English literature and Philosophy at Trinity College Dublin, where she is now in her final year, majoring in Philosophy. She is interested in art, literature, politics and pretty much anything you can have a good argument about. She draws on everything she sees!
Criomhthann is a recurrent Contributor. He’s currently studying for a Master in Public Policy in UCD, after completed a BSocSc in Social Policy and Politics with a specialisation in Development Studies. He is particularly interested in social justice and environmental issues, and enjoys music composition and video-making in his free time. Rumour has it, Criomhthann isn’t 100% sure how to pronounce his name.
Doireann is a Recurrent Contributor. She’s currently studying for a postgraduate diploma in law in the Law Society. Previously, she has completed a BA in economics and political science. Her main interests are current affairs and politics, particularly international relations and human rights issues, although you could probably tell that from looking at her articles! Interesting fact, Doireann has coached gymnastics since she was 16.
